I’ve loved this story for some time, partly because I lived in Nuremberg and partly because it is just so odd. The only way this could be associated with S&B is that perhaps the whole city was drunk at the time.
Either way, makes a person wonder.
April 4 1561
The citizens of Nuremberg behold what appears to be a large scale aerial battle followed by the appearance of a large black triangular object and a large crash (with smoke) outside the city. A news notice (early form of newspaper) was printed 10 days later (April 14) describing the event
