Four Roses Distillery is releasing a limited-edition bourbon that will feature a floral aroma with notes of apple, pear, caramel and nutmeg.
The Lawrenceburg, Ky.-based distillery will release its 2011 Limited Edition Single Barrel Bourbon in May.
“During the selection process, when I smelled the samples, the first characteristic that jumped out at me was the floral fragrance with a hint of roses,” master distiller Jim Rutledge said in a news release.
Four Roses’ 2011 Limited Edition Single Barrel Bourbon will be distributed in May to markets where the brand is currently available. About 3,600 bottles will be distributed.
