Looks like “the Comeback Kid” is pitching Modelo Beer in Mexico. You would think he has enough money from the NFL that he wouldn’t have to be a pitch man, but at least it is better than Sketchers.
I'm not sure it's in human nature to get to a point where when somebody says "Do you want $50,000 for one day of work and it will help keep you famous" you say No.
Wonder how much American football they watch in Mexico. Is his Q Score really higher than a Mexican celebrity or athlete's? What a weird choice.
Maybe this is an ad for Spanish-speaking Americans ). In places like Miami domestic* beers are not #1...Mexican ones are. I think it might even be Modelo, I can't remember.
Even given that, if you are trying to get a young, hip crowd of Spanish-speakers to drink your beer...Joe Montana? Still weird. Maybe they couldn't afford Alex Rodriguez.
