Firestone Walker Beer Dinner

I make no bones about it – I love eating and drinking at 44 Stone Public House.  With an ever changing tap line-up (so much so that they have Tap Cams) and an excellent kitchen staff – this is probably one of the best dining experiences in Columbia Missouri.

Back in June, I had the pleasure of attending a Beer Pairing Dinner with Perennial Beer.  Everyone had a great time and the evening was perfect – and this with a beer that I am not a strong advocate of, so I cannot imagine what it will be like imagine what it will be like with the announcement of the upcoming Firestone Walker event.

Firestone Walker Brewing Company is a California Based brewery that has slowly been building a following in the Craft Brewing arena – especially with their four time World Beer Cup Championships (2004, 2006, 2010, 2012).  An excellent brewery, but sadly – not a lot of penetration in Missouri, so we’ve had to enjoy it via bottles….until now.

Thursday September 27th sees them brining in some excellent beers, to be paired with a 6-Course Meal.
